Spring 2010
Tarotscope |

Oh Aries, this is your time of year, yet with the Eight of Pentacles and Ten of Rods, you seem stuck in a rut with the weight of the world on your shoulders. Time to assert yourself and tell all these petty tyrants to get off your back. Time too to either delegate or reduce your workload. And for your own sake lighten up a bit. The Spring has sprung, the grass is riz, I wonder where our Aries is? |

The Magician and Nine of Rods is an excellent combination. With initiative, determination and a positive mental attitude, so much can be achieved. Health matters look good and you should be in fine form to accomplish your goals. Everything you need is being made available to you. Now it's entirely up to you to make the magic happen. Remember too, where there is the will, there is a way. |

The King of Cups reminds me of a soft cuddly duvet, someone kind and gentle to bring comfort. The Hermit may be suggesting you need more such comfort, eg. I wish I was home in bed now, rather than at work with this bad cold. Be kinder to yourself, Gemini. If you are in two minds as to whether something is genuine, do some more detective work. A cushy number isn't always what it seems. |

The Nine of Swords can bring tears and pain. Something none of us can escape. However how we respond to such times is the real test. You are supported here by The Lovers, asking you to embrace life and become true to your inner callings. Exciting new vistas and new beginnings are available, though they may come as a result of very difficult choices. You must be true to your Self. |

Wow, Leo, this is a very special time for you. Not only are you the subject of the focal point cards, you are now presented with The Fool and Judgement. Can you combine the spontaneity of one, with the wise judgement of the other? There is the potential here for a momentous change. Be aware that how you act now can affect your life for many years to come. Look before you leap, Leo. |
You have drawn the Seven & Six of Pentacles in that order. It suggests something you thought would fail, may actually pay off, at least so you can balance the books, so to speak. And it isn't always about money. We can invest time, effort and energy into people and projects. In this case frowns should turn into smiles. Life has a way of balancing things out, so don't be too pessimistic. |
You are being naïve again, Libra. Thinking the best of people or situations. How many times will you let the Two of Cups do this to you. Will you (and I, a fellow Libran) ever learn? Fortunately, the Six of Swords says all will turn out all right. Indeed, things may actually go like clockwork, so just go with the flow. One warning though, secrets innocently shared may in time come back to haunt you. |
The best friend is one who will tell you that you look terrible in that dress, if you do. It is wise to surround yourself by such stalwart allies and advisors as described by the King of Swords. Value their forthright honesty. They are realists always offering excellent advice, even though you may not like it at the time. The Three of Cups says that life can become a celebration if you listen to them. |
Oh dear, it's going to end in tears. Head in the clouds, unrealistic expectations, daydreams, wishful thinking and fantasy island of the Seven of Cups is followed closely by the Five of Cups, when the cups of happiness get spilt. Fortunately, not all of them though, so life will improve. But if you will put people on pedestals, they do tend eventually to fall off. Be wary of being someone else's dream too. |

The Queen of Rods is one of my favourite cards. I love her vibrant energy. Favoured by Leo and ruled by The Sun, she brings out the best in us, including enhancing our creativity and flair. She is the one ready to seize the day and dress up for the party, yet she has to overcome the can't be bothered attitude of the Seven of Rods, when it's just too much hassle and effort to iron the frock. |
Two major arcana cards for you Aquarius, Justice and Death. Don't worry, you aren't about to be strung up although you are going to have to weigh the pros and cons of situations carefully, as other people will be affected by any changes you make. You may choose to put others before your own feelings. Some forms of partnerships may come to an end. Legal issues may also be resolved. |

The Nine of Pentacles is all about counting one's blessings as you realise that all is really well with you and your world. You had this card during the winter as well, so the good times are due to continue. You also have Temperence, as your guardian angel card, reminding you that even the good things should be enjoyed in moderation. Patience will be needed in one aspect of life however. |
